01 · Options

Three common paths to dependable hot water.

01

Tank water heaters

Traditional storage capacity with straightforward replacement options when the existing setup is suitable.

02

Tankless water heaters

On-demand heating sized around flow, temperature rise, fuel capacity, venting and simultaneous fixture use.

03

Heat-pump water heaters

Electric systems that require review of room volume, electrical service, condensate routing and operating conditions.

04

Commercial hot water

Storage, recirculation, mixing and multiple-unit arrangements coordinated to the project's load and documents.

02 · Site review

Confirm the conditions before selecting equipment.

  • Household or building hot-water demand
  • Existing fuel and utility capacity
  • Venting, combustion air and condensate
  • Recirculation and mixing requirements
  • Equipment location and service clearances
  • Existing piping and shutoff condition

03 · Installation

Connections, startup and a clean handoff.

The final scope is based on the equipment and site. It may include removal of the existing unit, new shutoffs and connectors, thermal expansion control, venting or condensate work, recirculation changes, testing and manufacturer startup procedures.

Is a tankless water heater right for every home?

No. Gas or electrical capacity, vent routing, temperature rise, flow demand, water quality and the existing layout all need to support the selected unit.

What should be checked before installing a heat-pump water heater?

Available room volume, air temperature, electrical service, condensate disposal, noise considerations and service clearances should be reviewed before selection.

How is water-heater size determined?

We look at occupancy, fixture demand, peak usage, incoming-water conditions and the selected technology rather than replacing by tank size alone.
